It is a real honour to share that Dr. Natalia Rabago and I have been included in Entrepreneur Middle East’s Healthcare Visionaries 2026. Seeing LUME Natural Aesthetics Clinic recognised alongside them means a great deal to both of us and to our whole team.
A clinic built on one simple idea
When we founded LUME in Dubai, we started from one conviction: the most advanced dentistry is the kind that cannot be detected. A great result should never announce itself. People should notice that you look healthy, rested and confident. They shouldn’t notice that you’ve “had work done.”
That idea shapes everything we do. We combine state-of-the-art technology with traditional craftsmanship, and we let nature be our guide. Our goal is not to replace what nature has created but to enhance it. That means preserving natural tooth structure, protecting long-term oral health and supporting healthy ageing.
From competitors to partners
Our story is a little unusual. Natalia and I were once competitors. We both trained in aesthetic dentistry at NYU, and over time we realised we shared the same standards, the same values and the same way of looking at a smile. Today LUME is a family business, and that shared vision is at the heart of our clinic’s culture.
Our backgrounds
I am a periodontist and aesthetic dentist from Spain. I graduated from the University of Barcelona and did advanced postgraduate training in the United States. Over more than two decades I have practised in Spain, New York and the Middle East, and for more than ten years I have treated an international community of patients here in Dubai. My focus is periodontal aesthetics, dental implants and natural smile makeovers, where the health of the gums is as important as the beauty of the teeth.
Natalia is an aesthetic dentist from Spain and comes from a family of dentists. For her, aesthetic dentistry is where precision meets artistry. Her special interests are natural smile design, periodontal aesthetics, veneers and comprehensive aesthetic treatment. She pays close attention to tooth shape, proportion and gum harmony so that results look beautiful without appearing obvious.
What this recognition means to us
Awards are never the reason we do this work. Still, this recognition confirms that a conservative, natural and health-first approach to aesthetic dentistry is valued, not only by our patients but by the wider healthcare community in the Middle East. It also encourages us to keep investing in training, technology and, above all, in the time we spend understanding each patient.
